The 35th Search for the Ten Outstanding Boy Scouts of the Philippines concluded with a meaningful awarding ceremony held on October 30 at the Manila Metropolitan Theatre. The event celebrated the remarkable achievements of this year’s TOBS awardees and finalists, while also honoring this year’s 20th Gawad TOBSPA Honoree and Awardee. In his testimonial, Atty. Jessan Ros, 1989 TOBS Awardee and Director IV of the Bureau of Trademarks, Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, reflected on the profound influence of Scouting on his personal growth and professional life in public service. As he shared, “Now that I am older and wiser, 35 years after TOBS, I have realized that the best award does not come in the form of a trophy, plaque, or medal. It is the simple yet fulfilling feeling of happiness and pride knowing that each time I do something good, big or small, I continue to live up to the Scout ideals beyond my Scouting journey.”
